For a funky painted stripe effect, divide the wall into three horizontal bands and mark with a pencil line. A spirit level will help. Work from the bottom up, positioning a strip of masking tape along the pencil marks to create equal sized bands. The same colour from light to dark works best. Paint with a roller from the top down for best results.
